I just completed my technology course for the year. I explored web tools like Prezi and Stencyl. I learned about digital stories. I made a movie with Windows Movie Maker. I had a great time and I loved the course. It is one of those things that I would do again. One thing that I think could be improved is more experimenting with the tools. I would also of liked to develop more movies and games with what was taught. This was a course that I would recommend to others.

Nnamdi Asomugha
The Eagles just added another amazing talent to their team. Yesterday, they signed the arguably 2nd or 3rd best corner in the league Nnamdi Asomugha. This came as a shock to me because the Eagles just traded for Dominique Rodgers-Cromarte and their other corner back Asante Samuel is also has much talent. Nnamdi Asomugha actually wanted to be on the Eagles. The Eagles have a high powered backfield and don't be surprised if they trade Asante Samuel to a team like the Jets. This would open roster space.

The Trades of the Day
Chad Ochocinco's career as a showing off wide receiver has ended. He has been traded to the New England Patriots. His showing off mentality would make him a great fit with the Patriots.
Speaking of fitting with the Patriots, the Washington Redskins have also traded for former Washington Redskin DT Albert Haynesworth. The Patriots only traded a 2013 5th round pick for Haynesworth. Both sides are winners in this trade. The Patriots are filling the gap that Richard Seymour left with a Haynesworth, and the Redskins no longer have to pay a player who doesn't want to be with them.
This is the most Surprising trade of the day for me. The Bears tight end Greg Olsen is being traded to the Carolina Panthers. The details of the trade has not yet been disclosed. He is joining a team that is heavily improving its tight end corp they already have signed former Superbowl champion Jeremy Shockey. Greg Olsen will be a great improvement to the Panthers.

The Eagles and Cardinals also had a trade today. The Eagles traded quarterback Kevin Kolb for Cardinals corner back Dominique Rodgers-Cromarte and a second round pick. This trade will give Kevin Kolb an opportunity to start. He has the talent of a starter but has backed up Donovan McNabb and Michael Vick before this trade.
Also, last but not least the New Orleans Saints have agreed to trade running back Reggie Bush to the Miami Dolphins. This is a smart move by the Dolphins because both of their running backs, Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown are free agents and most likely won't sign with the dolphins again.

Rice for the Hawks
Sidney Rice just signed a $41 million, five year contract with Seahawks. He is a great fit with the Seahawks because Seattle needs a wide receiver core with more talent and Sidney Rice brings that to the table. Some of his former teammates like Adrian Peterson are shocked that he decided to leave the Vikings. This was most likely because of his good relationship with his teammates. He was the Vikings #1 wide receiver and it might be hard to fill the hole that he left them with.
McNabb to the Vikes
The Redskins and Vikings Struck a deal trading Donavon McNabb to the Vikings for a 6th round pick in 2012 and a conditional 6th rounder in 2013. McNabb is a great help for the Vikings because he gives them a chance to groom their 1st round pick, quarterback Christian Ponder. Ponder is excited to have McNabb on the team, but he still plans on fighting for the starting job. I consider this trade a good move for the vikings but not for the Redskins. They made the Vikings pay to low for McNabb's skill set.

Common Ground
It is about these two families that lived on the same land, one was farmers but eventually sold their land. The other family lived in a subdivision built off the other family's former land. Also, I liked this digital story. The theme was how land passes down through time to different people. I found this very engaging and I recommend watching it.

More
For Schoology I had to watch a digital story called More. It is about this alienish creature who is trying to bring joy into his life so he creates this invention which allows him to see in color. After that his life is no longer dull. I feel that is a story that teaches about purpose in life and I liked it overall. I'm guessing that the point is finding happiness.
